Jar I loved the idea of using a pesticide free, non cancer causing flea killer. However, this stuff is incredibly messy, slow working, and may break your vacuum if you use it to clean up with afterwards. It's such a fine dust that it gets absolutely everywhere, and is difficult to clean up dry (multiple mopping worked best). However, I also put this stuff on my couch, and used my inexpensive vacuum to suck it out of the upholstery.. I think the DE clogged the motor of the vacuum because it simply stopped working. The vacuum was about a month old, so I don't think it died of over use. I'd be really careful with this stuff, and assess if you really want to wait two weeks to start seeing results. If you do use a vacuum to clean up, make sure you clean the dust cup/filter/bag frequently so the fine dust doesn't end up clogging your machine. DE is so fine that your filter may appear fine, but is actually full of DE. I ended up buying Ultracide and using that because I could not deal... Read more |
