 Nice wide rim, colors just ok, This review is from: Columbia Sportswear Sun Goddess Bucket II Sun Hats (Apparel) I got this hat because I like being outdoors and I live in California where it is often a good idea to protect yourself from the sun. This hat is able to do that. It has a rather wide rim which protects both my face and my neck. The stitching on the rim helps keep it in shape.As a bucket hat it is not just resting on the top of my head, it is really on my head so it won't fly off quite as easily. It is made of Nylon so it is quick drying (FYI: handwash only). The description on amazon lists "omniband sweatband and mesh" which I cannot find. I would say it is not equipped with that. Which makes sense because the hat is reversible, that wouldn't work if it had a sweatband inside. The amazon description also lists "adjustable drawcord and toggle at back" - that must be a different hat. This one has no cord or toggle at all. I didn't expect that from the picture but the amazon description is misleading and should be corrected. But here is what I don't like about this hat... Read more |
