5.0 out of 5 stars Don't let the bedbugs bite..., June 21, 2010

I'm a NYC'er. In the past decade, bedbugs have made an (unfortunate) resurgence. To make a long story short; they're the most annoying, insidious pest. Unlike roaches, bedbugs have NOTHING to do with keeping your apartment clean. It can happen to ANYONE. Once you have them, you don't notice them at first, as they're sooooo small. But you'll start scratching. When they become adults, again - you still really won't see them, because they come out at dawn. They're in & out. Once you've reached for the light-switch - they're gone.

Then (oy!) you look at your sheets, and you might see little (red - blood) dots, or maybe even a couple. BUT, when you pull off the sheets in horror, and look at the SEAM areas.... you're gonna be sick.

The first impulse is to reach for the 'bug spray,' usually roach killer. Uh un. Don't work.

When you've got them, that means they've gotten IN to your; mattress, sheets, carpets, clothes...EVERYWHERE.

    There are... Read more

Sprayed a whole can. Killed a bedbug as it was biting my back two nights later. Have killed at least 20 since. Actually rubbing alcohol works great sprayed directly on them. That and constantly washing sheets. They're pretty much gone now. Just sprayed the house with Propoxur though. Nasty stuff, but supposedly it works. We'll see. :(

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Product, May 20, 2011

This product works well. HOWEVER, as some have found, it won't work alone. When I ordered this product, I also purchased Delta dust. I started outside of the infected room and worked my way toward that room, to avoid infestation in the rest of the house. I put down delta dust along the walls and removed the switch plates and dusted inside of the walls. I even dusted across the doorways. BTW - Diotomaceous earth works well, too, for this. Just remember to re-apply to the floor after vacuuming. Once I dusted, I sprayed all surfaces of the bed, including the headboard. I placed the legs into bowls and sprayed some more to make a puddle. All items that couldn't be sprayed went into a black trash bag and into the sun for several days. This killed any live bugs in books or electronics. Those electronics I couldn't bag were placed into a pan and the base was sprayed with bedlam. If anything decided to come out to feed, it had to go through a puddle of insecticide first. ALL...
