The first one I bought without looking around online because I needed one right away. It did the job but had no pocket storage, just a very small one that wouldn't even fit a cliff bar. This pack is the perfect size and has ample storage for keys, a phone, a camera, and a snack. It is still lightweight and has the newest bladder system that distributes weight better, as well as lets you get your hand in there to clean. GREAT BUY!!!! Although it is typically marketed for biking, it provides just enough additional room than those the company makes for running. I not only have all of the water that I need, I also have room for my keys, money, a couple of snacks, and can even shove a long-sleeved shirt/rain jacket in the expandable pouch in the front. It is much more comfortable (and much roomier) than the waist packs I have used in the past that bounce around. I am still working on getting the fit exactly right, though, as the straps never seem to want to lie completely flat. (They sort of raise up/bow out a bit from my shoulders on the inside edge.)
